Fuselage of all metal structure with fabric covering attached to lower wing at lower longerons. Fuselage has flat sides and bottom with rounded top

Tail Unit:

Braced tailplane at base of fin with balanced rudder and split elevators

Landing Gear:

Divided type fixed gear with each mainwheel attached to wing by oleo leg and radius rod with axle to fuselage lower longeron. Tail skid

Power Plant:

One 575 hp Bristol Jupiter XFA nine-cylinder radial air-cooled engine driving a two bladed wooden propeller

Accommodation:

Pilot and observer in tandem open cockpits aft of the wing

Armament:

One fixed forward firing Vickers with Lewis of Scarff ring for observer. One 1,000 lb torpedo under the fuselage or up to 1,100 lb of bombs under the wings
